As often it happens.. it takes a child to point out our life's most profound lessons.
It happened at a school in Chicago, students were asked to list out the seven wonders of the world. Most of the children with differences in order of ranking - Egypt's great pyramids, India's Taj Mahal, the Grand crayon in Arizona, Panama canal, the Empire state building, Statue of Liberty and Great wall of China.
As the teacher was gathering the lists from children. She noticed one quite child sitting in the corner deep in thought. She asked the child if she was having trouble with her list and needed any help.
The child replied, yes a little", I cannot makeup my mind science there are so many". The teacher approached her saying, " Well, read out your list.. maybe we can help".
The little girl hesitated for a while, then read, I think the seven wonders of the world are:
To touch.. To taste.. To hear.. To See (she hesitated a little and then added) To feel.. To Laugh and To Love..
After this the whole classroom was so very quite for sometime..
Really hats off to that child..
